Vice President - ITG Portfolio Management

Scope:

- Responsible for leading the ITG Portfolio Management Office (PMO) and enterprise portfolio governance, ensuring strategic, transformational, and operational technology initiatives are prioritized, governed, and delivered effectively across the organization.
- This role provides executive leadership for portfolio planning, investment governance, delivery execution, risk management, and business value realization while driving transparency, accountability, and operational excellence across global ITG teams.
- As the senior ITG leader in India, the role also strengthens regional leadership, talent development, stakeholder engagement, and alignment with enterprise priorities, ensuring consistent execution and collaboration across global delivery organizations.

What you will do:

- Leading ITG Portfolio Management and the Program Management Office, ensuring strategic and operational initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and with strong governance, transparency, stakeholder alignment, and execution discipline across ITG.
- Establish and lead the global ITG Portfolio Management Office to enable disciplined delivery across the organization
- Accountable for building, leading, and continuously improving ITG Portfolio Management and the Program Management Office across global teams.
- Lead a global team of program managers and portfolio managers responsible for supporting strategic, transformation, and operational delivery across ITG.
- Partner closely with all ITG delivery leaders to ensure programs and projects are governed effectively, resourced appropriately, and delivered on time and within budget.
- Provide portfolio visibility, dependency management, escalation support, and proactive intervention for initiatives requiring leadership attention.
- Ensure the PMO supports both major strategic initiatives and the broader ITG project portfolio with the right balance of rigor, speed, and practical delivery enablement.
- Develop talent, operating rhythms, standards, and career paths for program and portfolio management professionals globally.
- Drive an integrated portfolio operating model that improves planning, execution, governance, and business value realization
- Define and operationalize a consistent, enterprise-oriented way of managing the ITG portfolio across functions, regions, and delivery organizations.
- Establish portfolio intake, prioritization, planning, execution, risk management, financial tracking, and executive reporting practices.
- Implement executive-level portfolio dashboards, metrics, and operating reviews covering scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, benefits, and decisions required.
- Partner with finance, procurement, architecture, security, infrastructure, applications, and enterprise technology leaders to ensure portfolio plans are realistic, funded, and execution ready.
- Drive governance forums and decision-making mechanisms that focus leadership attention on priority tradeoffs, resource constraints, delivery risks, and value realization.
- Serve as a senior ITG leader in India and strengthen regional engagement, culture, and collaboration
- Act as the senior ITG leader in India, providing local leadership presence, engagement, and connection across India-based delivery teams.
- Work with India-based teams that are matrixed into global delivery leaders to build stronger regional cohesion, collaboration, communication, and sense of community.
- Partner with global ITG delivery leaders to ensure India teams are aligned to enterprise priorities while also benefiting from strong local leadership, support, and engagement.
- Create forums, operating rhythms, and engagement mechanisms that bring teams together, strengthen regional identity, and promote cross-functional bonding.
- Serve as a culture carrier for ITG in India, reinforcing accountability, transparency, associate-first leadership, delivery discipline, and a strong say/do mindset.
- Partner with HR, facilities, business operations, and global technology leaders to support India site engagement, leadership communication, and talent development priorities.
- Maintain a minimum of approximately five hours of working overlap with U.S. time zones to support effective collaboration with U.S.-based stakeholders, ITG delivery leaders, and teams, given that most key stakeholders and delivery partners will continue to be based in the United States.

What are we looking for:

- 20+ years of progressive leadership experience in Portfolio Management, Program Management Office (PMO), IT Strategy, Technology Transformation, or Enterprise Delivery functions, with significant experience leading global teams and large-scale technology portfolios.
- Bachelor’s degree in technology, Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA and PMP/PgMP/SAFe certifications preferred.
- Proven ability to build and scale Portfolio Management Offices (PMOs) and drive execution across complex, multi-functional technology portfolios.
- Strong leadership experience managing global teams of program and portfolio managers, with a focus on talent development and operational excellence.
- Expertise in portfolio governance, strategic planning, prioritization, financial management, risk management, and executive reporting.
- Demonstrated success delivering large-scale technology and transformation initiatives on time, within budget, and aligned to business objectives.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and partner effectively with senior executives and cross-functional leaders.
- Strong business acumen, executive presence, and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
- Experience working in global environments with significant collaboration across U.S. and India teams.
