Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities

• Develop MATLAB/Simulink models for analog and mixed-signal peripherals.

• Create behavioural, functional and system-level models of board-level components.

• Model peripherals such as:

◦ MOSFETs

◦ Power management circuits

◦ ADCs / DACs

◦ Operational amplifiers

◦ Comparators

◦ Sensors and signal-conditioning circuits

• Validate model accuracy against datasheets, hardware measurements and reference designs.

• Build reusable simulation frameworks and model libraries.

• Integrate peripheral models with MCU and system-level simulations.

• Support virtual board creation and verification activities.

• Collaborate with customer architects, MathWorks teams and embedded software engineers.

• Participate in architecture reviews and technical design discussions.

Work Experience

Mandatory Skills

• Strong expertise in MATLAB and Simulink.

• Hands-on experience in analog or mixed-signal system modelling.

• Experience developing behavioural models of semiconductor devices or electronic circuits.

• Solid understanding of:

◦ MOSFET operation

◦ Analog electronics

◦ Power electronics

◦ Signal conditioning circuits

• Familiarity with model validation and calibration techniques.

• Experience with simulation methodologies and Model-Based Design.

Preferred Skills

• MATLAB Simscape / Simscape Electrical.

• Stateflow.

• Embedded Coder / HDL Coder.

• SPICE, LTspice, PSpice, Spectre or equivalent simulation tools.

• Semiconductor, Automotive, Industrial or Power Electronics domain experience.

• Experience with Digital Twins, Virtual ECUs or Virtual Platforms.

• Exposure to AI-assisted model generation or model automation frameworks.

Educational Qualification

• B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in:

◦ Electronics & Communication

◦ Electrical Engineering

◦ Embedded Systems

◦ Instrumentation

◦ Control Systems

• PhD or Master’s specialisation in Modelling, Simulation, Power Electronics, Control Systems or Semiconductor Devices is an added advantage.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to interpret semiconductor datasheets and translate them into simulation models.

• Experience leading modelling activities and mentoring engineers.

• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Customer-facing experience preferred.
