Job Requirements
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Participate in requirement analysis, design, coding and testing (manual as well as automation)
- Ability to understand/learn architecture and design of existing applications developed mainly using Core Java / Swing
- Take ownership of assigned jobs that are part of new feature implementations, bug fixes and enhancement activities
- Technical communication with internal / external stakeholders and collaborate with global teams will be part of job
- Ability to lead/mentor teams of size up to 3 (Secondary Responsibility)
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
- Strong programming skills in Core Java and design patterns
- Develop applications using Core Java/Swing for Medical Devices domain
- Deep knowledge in Object-Oriented concepts and experience in implementing the same using Java
- Good understanding of OSGI framework and working experience in OSGI based development
- 3-5 years of experience in design and development of software applications and frameworks
- Basic understanding skills in Javascript, HTML5, CSS3 and web stack
- Experience in working with Agile methodology of project execution
- Having experience in components developed in C++, Perl, and Python etc. is an added advantage
Desired Skills:
- Ability to explore large code base and understand architecture and design
- Ability to deliver without much supervision from lead/managers
- Good working knowledge in Core Java enterprise / engineering applications
- Familiar with tools like WinScp, Putty, Rally, Clearcase, Collaborator, SVN
- Proficiency with MS Office, particularly MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint
