JOB DESCRIPTION : FP&A Analyst - CPET

Indorama Ventures is a global sustainable chemical company operating across multiple verticals such as Combined PET, Fibers, and Integrated Oxides & Derivatives. The Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Kolkata, India supports worldwide operations through centralized IT, Finance and business process services.
Position Overview :
Location : GCC, Kolkata
Experience: Relevant experience in FP&A , preferably in manufacturing, chemicals, or industrial sectors
Industry Preference: Manufacturing / Chemicals / Industrial businesses
Key Responsibilities:
- Support annual budget, forecast, and long‑range plan processes for CPET businesses.
- Review and consolidate monthly MIS submitted by manufacturing sites.
- Prepare executive reports, including Monthly 2-Pager Reports and MD&A.
- Analyze key business drivers including Volume, Margin, Cost, Cash Flow, and Working Capital.
- Drive the Business Plan, Budget, Forecast, Weekly Profitability, and Variance Analysis processes.
- Monitor business performance, identify risks/opportunities, and provide actionable insights.
- Review CAPEX proposals, business cases, and investment returns (IRR/Payback).
- Support finance transformation, process improvement, and strategic initiatives.
- Partner with Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain, and Business Leaders to drive performance.
Ideal Applicant:
- CA/CMA/CPA or equivalent qualification is a must.
- Minimum 4 years of FP&A , Business Finance, or Commercial Finance experience in a multinational manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, planning, forecasting, business performance analysis, and working capital management.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Hands-on experience with SAP; knowledge of Power BI, AI tools, or other digital analytics platforms is a strong advantage.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to present insights to senior leadership.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of FP&A concepts: budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance management.
- Hands‑on experience in manufacturing cost structures (variable vs fixed, absorption, utilization impact).
- Advanced Excel skills (financial modelling, pivot tables, scenario analysis).
- Working knowledge of SAP and planning/reporting tools preferred.
- Basic understanding of IFRS / management accounting principles.
- Experience working with regional or global stakeholders in a multilingual environment is an advantage.
