We are seeking a talented and tech-savvy  Business Applications & Support Engineer to join our Digital Transformation team . You will play a key role in supporting, optimizing and continuously enhancing our core business systems and ERP applications. Acting as a vital link between technology, business operations, end-users and external vendors, you will translate business needs into effective digital solutions, oversee system improvements and contribute to the successful delivery of transformation initiatives.

The position reports directly to the  Digital Transformation Manager .

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze, support and enhance core business systems and enterprise applications, including ERP systems, ensuring alignment with operational workflows and business requirements.

- Design and develop tailored in-house applications or custom scripts, as required, to address specific business needs.

- Act as the primary liaison between internal end-users and external software vendors, facilitating effective communication and accelerating issue resolution.

- Oversee system installations, upgrades and configurations carried out by external vendors, ensuring timely, efficient and high-quality project delivery.

- Design and execute comprehensive end-to-end testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure system reliability and seamless performance.

- Deliver engaging training sessions and develop clear user documentation to support end-users and promote the successful adoption of new technologies.

- Develop and deliver a wide range of reports, dashboards and data insights, supporting business continuity and providing Top Management with valuable information for decision-making.

Required Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a closely related field.

- Experience: At least two years of relevant professional experience in application support, business analysis, ERP implementation or a related field.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English (a third language will be considered an asset).

Skills

- Strong hands-on knowledge of relational database management systems, with particular emphasis on Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.

- Familiarity with at least one major programming language, such as Python, C#, Java, PHP or VB.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.

- A proactive and collaborative team player who can also work independently, quickly adapt to emerging technologies and demonstrate a strong commitment to continuous improvement.

- Experience with Business Intelligence tools, such as Power BI or QlikView, and the ability to transform raw data into meaningful and actionable dashboards will be considered an asset.

- Familiarity with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and workflow automation tools, such as Power Automate or UiPath, will be considered an asset.
