About the role:
ESTO is hiring AI Operations Engineer who will be one of the first builders in its AI Operations team, working closely with the Head of AI Ops and teams across ESTO, with the autonomy to build, experiment, and move fast.
This is a hands-on role for someone who gets excited about turning possibilities into working solutions - you will experiment with the latest AI tooling, build agentic workflows and integrations, and solve problems that have a visible impact on how ESTO operates.
What You’ll Do :
- Build AI-powered automation - design and ship agentic workflows, integrations, and scripts on our AI stack and internal systems
- Remove operational bottlenecks - take ideas from concept to production, understand the problem, design the solution, build it, test it, and iterate
- Keep what you ship alive - monitor the automations you and the team own, catch failures before users do, and refine them as inputs, volumes, and processes change
- Experiment on the frontier - try new AI capabilities and tooling, and turn the promising ones into practical solutions
- Set the standard - establish best practices for AI usage and workflow orchestration.
- Spread what work s - turn each automation into a reusable template and share what you learn to build a culture of experimentation across ESTO
What We Expect :
- Solid engineering skills: Python (or similar), APIs, integrations, data
- Problem solver who turns challenges into practical technical plans
- AI-native: excited about AI/LLMs, comfortable experimenting with tooling
- Builder mindset: ships small, tests, iterates from real feedback
- Collaborative across Ops, Engineering, and Product
- Curious: digs into the "why," not just the task
- Ownership mentality: self-directed, fast-moving, comfortable with ambiguity in a role built from scratch
Nice to have
- Automating support/finance/ops processes, AI agent frameworks, fintech/regulated experience
