We’re looking for curious, motivated graduates with strong people skills who want to grow, learn, and make a difference. If you hold a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD and have up to three years of professional experience, apply for our 18-month Graduate Programme starting on 1 September 2027.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of reinsurance, rotate into different local teams, and receive tailored training to build your expertise. By the end of the programme, you’ll have built the skills, foundations and network to pursue a wide range of career opportunities within Swiss Re.

This early recruitment cycle is dedicated specifically to Group Strategy and Group Reporting & FP&A Graduate positions .

Additional Graduate opportunities across P&C, L&H, Risk Management, Finance & Asset Management functions in Zurich, London, Paris, Milan, and Bratislava will be advertised from November onwards.

About the Role

This role places you at the heart of Swiss Re's decision-making, offering direct exposure to executive-level strategy and a broad range of topics. You will contribute to the development of the Group’s strategic agenda, provide insights through rigorous analyses, and support decision-making at the highest levels of the organisation. Working in a dynamic, global environment, this role provides a platform for career growth, learning, and impact within the Group.

Key responsibilities:

- Support the development of the Group strategic agenda through analyses, research, and thought leadership.

- Contribute to high-impact, cross-functional projects that drive transformation and value creation across business units and group functions.

- Deliver proactively insights through market, competitor, and financial analyses to help identify risks and opportunities.

- Prepare materials for the Executive Group and Board of Directors and collaborate closely with senior stakeholders.

- Operate globally, engaging with stakeholders from various business areas and geographies in a fast-paced environment.

About You

We are looking for people who:

- Strong analytical/data processing skills, able to break down complexity and prioritize.

- Strong interpersonal skills and experience in building relationships across functions and geographies.

- Excellent command in Englisch (written and verbally), every additional language is a plus.

- University Degree in Finance, Business Administration or Economics.

- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

- Experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, insurance or related roles is a plus.

The base salary range for this position will be shared with you during the interview process.
