Program Description
Chambersburg Outpatient serves children, adolescents, and adults in Franklin County by providing personalized outpatient behavioral health care. Services include comprehensive assessments, individualized treatment planning, and a broad range of therapeutic supports. Our therapists offer individual, family, and group therapy to help patients achieve their treatment goals and improve overall well-being.
Position Function:
Under the supervision of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or designated licensed professional (i.e. LPC). Performs clinical interventions with patients (children through older adults), families/significant others, staff, outside organizations and providers in order to coordinate patient care, implement treatment and perform discharge planning. Provides psychosocial assessments and clinical therapies (i.e., individual, couples, group, play and family therapies) to patients of Behavioral Health Services. May be required to travel between clinical sites to assist in Provision of Care.
Qualifications and Standards
Education: Graduate of an accredited school with a Master's Degree in Social Work. Evidence of participation in educational programs to update and maintain knowledge and clinical skills.
Experience: Experience applying customer service behaviors and communication skills required. Computer, telephone and analytical skills required.
Certifications/Licensure: Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in Pennsylvania and must obtain Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensure within 12 months of hire. CPR certification required.
