Exciting Opportunity: Join Our Team as a Service Centre Receptionist
Are you friendly, organized, customer-focused, and confident in handling both people and phone communications?
Join our team as a Service Centre Receptionist , where you’ll be the first point of contact for customers visiting the service centre and calling by phone. You’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming customer experience, coordinating service appointments, handling enquiries, and supporting the Service Team with essential administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet customers upon arrival and guide them through the reception area while ensuring they feel comfortable.
- Offer refreshments and provide customers with information about their expected waiting time.
- Operate the telephone switchboard, including answering, transferring, holding, and directing calls to the appropriate departments or personnel.
- Handle incoming enquiries, provide general information, and make outgoing calls when required.
- Arrange service appointments and conduct appointment reminder calls.
- Follow up on customer complaints and prepare customer feedback reports.
- Identify the nature of customer enquiries and ensure they are directed to the appropriate person or department.
- Manage internal and external calls, including redirecting calls or placing callers in a waiting queue when required.
- Ensure the timely and proper distribution of incoming and outgoing mail.
- Maintain a professional, clean, and welcoming appearance of the reception area.
- Perform other receptionist, secretarial, and administrative duties as requested by the Service Manager.
Role Purpose:
To deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout the service visit, efficiently manage service appointments and telephone communications, and provide reliable administrative and back-office support to the Service Centre.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar receptionist, customer service, or administrative role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or Diploma.
- Languages: Fluency in English is essential ; Arabic is preferred.
- Computer Skills: Computer literate with good knowledge of standard computer applications.
- Equipment Knowledge: Comfortable using telephone systems, switchboards, computers, and related office equipment.
- Certification: Relevant certification or professional training is preferred.
- Customer Focus: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine commitment to delivering a positive customer experience.
- Professionalism: Ability to remain composed, flexible, and professional in a busy service-centre environment.
