The Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Program employs a Team Leader who is responsible for maintaining an environment which meets customer needs, encourages teamwork and fosters the personal and career growth of the department personnel. This position works closely with the Director of Physical Medicine in the development and implementation of patient care service and programs, fiscal management, human resource management, and quality management. Additionally, the position models responsible team membership.
Education
Minimum Level of Education Required: Associate degree

- Valid RN license in the State of Ohio

Prior specific functional responsibilities: Minimum 5 years of clinical cardiopulmonary experience.

Knowledge/Skills
- Knowledge base in cardiovascular and pulmonary anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology, particularly in ischemic heart disease.
- Knowledge base in cardiovascular and pulmonary physical assessment techniques, cardiac monitoring treatment techniques and arrhythmia recognition, and psychological evaluation and intervention.
- Demonstrates knowledge base and skill in providing care to specific age groups.
- Demonstrates time management, organizational skills, positive communication skills, and management potential through education or minimum of one-year experience in managerial role.
- Possesses team focused attributes. Work scheduled hours as assigned.
