Your Opportunity:

Taylor Warehousing & Distribution is seeking a Warehouse Worker I to join the team at our Jeffersonville, IN facility.

Work Authorization:

To be considered for Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

Your Responsibilities:

- Perform general warehouse housekeeping including sweeping, mopping, emptying trash containers, etc.
- Follow all safety procedures in operating equipment and performance of job duties.
- Receive, unpack, check, and store merchandise or materials.
- Fill requisitions and orders.
- Pack, crate, and ship products and materials to distribution centers, departments, or assembly lines.
- May operate forklift equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.

Your Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday with overtime as required, including some weekends.

You Must Have:

- Flexibility to perform a variety of job assignments.

- Familiar with basic computer operations.

- Basic Math and Reading Skills.

- Ability to work as a team member and independently.

Requirements within this position:

- Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.
- Regularly required to remain in a stationary position.
- Frequently move inside the warehouse and production environment.
- Regularly move, transport, position, install, or remove materials and products.
- Constantly operate warehouse equipment, computers, and other office productivity machinery.
- Ability to lift and move materials throughout the shift.

We Would Also Prefer:

- Prior warehouse experience.
- High school diploma or its equivalent preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Forklift experience.
