About this role

Accountabilities:

- Develop and execute the enterprise sales strategy, aligning commercial priorities with organizational objectives, market opportunities, and long-term growth plans.

- Establish annual and multi-year sales goals, revenue targets, pipeline objectives, and growth plans across multiple service lines.

- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales organization focused on consultative selling, customer-centricity, accountability, and long-term client partnerships.

- Monitor market conditions, competitive activity, customer trends, and emerging opportunities to proactively adjust commercial and growth strategies.

- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities with hospitals, health systems, provider organizations, and strategic partners.

- Develop strategies to expand existing client relationships, increase the organizational footprint within customer accounts, and diversify revenue streams.

- Lead complex sales pursuits, contract negotiations, executive presentations, and strategic business development initiatives.

- Partner with executive leadership to translate growth objectives into actionable commercial strategies and market expansion plans.

- Support the development of new service offerings, go-to-market strategies, and integrated solutions that address evolving client needs.

- Collaborate with Operations, Pharmacy Services, Client Success, Product, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Implementation teams to execute growth initiatives and deliver seamless client experiences.

- Ensure alignment between commercial strategies and operational capabilities while helping prioritize investments that support growth and scalability.

- Establish and monitor key sales, revenue, membership, pipeline, and client growth metrics.

- Use data, market insights, and performance analytics to evaluate sales effectiveness, identify growth opportunities, and support informed decision-making.

- Provide executive leadership with regular performance updates, forecasts, and strategic recommendations while maintaining strong pipeline management and forecasting discipline.

- Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing sales and business development talent while building leadership capabilities throughout the organization.

- Foster continuous improvement, strategic thinking, professional development, organizational planning, and succession within the sales function.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or a related field.

- 10+ years of progressive experience in sales, business development, commercial leadership, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience leading large, complex sales teams or commercial organizations.

- Experience working with hospitals, health systems, specialty pharmacy, infusion, ambulatory pharmacy, pharmacy services organizations, or related healthcare businesses is preferred.

- Experience leading enterprise sales strategies across multiple products or service lines is preferred.

- Demonstrated success developing and executing sales strategies that deliver significant revenue growth.

- Proven experience building and managing executive-level customer relationships and strategic partnerships.

- Strong track record managing complex sales cycles, strategic negotiations, contract discussions, and executive presentations.

- Experience within healthcare services, health systems, specialty pharmacy, infusion services, healthcare technology, or related healthcare sectors.

- Strong ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior executive stakeholders without relying solely on direct authority.

- Strong strategic thinking, commercial judgment, analytical capabilities, communication skills, and leadership presence.

- Ability to translate market intelligence and organizational objectives into actionable growth strategies and measurable sales plans.

- Ability to work remotely with a cable broadband or fiber optic internet connection providing at least 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload speeds.

- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 40%–50% nationally within the United States.
