About The Team

Job Summary
The 3PL Operations role at JD.com, Inc. is responsible for overseeing and optimizing third-party logistics activities to ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain operations and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities
* Manage and monitor the performance of 3PL partners, including warehouses, carriers, and last-mile delivery providers.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve 3PL operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
* Negotiate contracts and service level agreements with 3PL providers, ensuring adherence to JD.com's standards.
* Conduct regular performance reviews and audits of 3PL operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
* Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., procurement, sales, IT) to integrate 3PL processes seamlessly into JD.com's overall supply chain.
* Analyze logistics data to identify trends, forecast demands, and optimize inventory management strategies with 3PL partners.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation, warehousing, and customs regulations.
* Resolve operational issues and escalations with 3PL providers in a timely and effective manner.
* Participate in the selection and onboarding of new 3PL partners as needed.

Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in 3PL operations, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably within an e-commerce or retail environment.
* Proven track record of managing and optimizing 3PL relationships and performance.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in supply chain management software and systems (e.g., WMS, TMS).
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
* Fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
