In Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions, we provide next-generation threat detection and countermeasure solutions to provide unparalleled electronic warfare capabilities to enhance mission survivability.

BAE Systems is looking for a Senior Process Engineer on the Advanced Compact EW Solutions (ACES) operations test and manufacturing team. This position will support multiple factories in Nashua but concentrate on the FOTD factory in our South Nashua facility.

Position is first shift--flexible to 4/10(Monday-Thursday)

The Position will include the following duties:

- Designs, develops, maintains and improves manufacturing processes and procedures while supporting or leading production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, and applicable material handling.
- Designs, specifies and acquires fixtures, tools and equipment required to support manufacturing.
- Partners with program and operations teams to document and disposition Non-Conformances while driving systemic manufacturing defects to root cause and implements corrective actions.
- Partner with program teams to assure designs are producible and maintainable. Actively supports or completes PPV/FAI.
- Drives manufacturing process improvements, production problem resolutions, and integrating solutions into a lean manufacturing environment.
- Collaborates with other functions such as supply chain, quality engineering and program engineering teams. Works closely with Test Engineering to assist with test debug and associated rework as applicable.
- Works with program and new product devleopment to transition new assemblies to production.
- Provides mentorship to other process engineers, test engineers and methods writers within the factory.

The individual will work in both office spaces and production environment supporting the factory full time onsite.

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering Discipline
- At least 3 years of process engineering or equivelent experience.
- Experience in Manufacturing and final assembly build processing
- Experience with enginering material design and transition to production.
- Ability to obtain a secret clearance.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Secret Clearance
- Strong MES Paperless (BAE) Systems proficiency preferred.
- Strong experence with AS9100(ISO 9000), AS9145(APQP) or equivalent quality standards preferred
- Strong leadership, people skills, judgement and problem-solving capabilities.
- Solid communication, teamwork and integration know-how will be required to work effectively across functions at multiple levels.
- Exhibit sound judgment, initiative, and self-motivation and be able to complete complex tasks with minimal guidance.
- Must be hands on and prepared to roll up your sleeves and work closely with assemblers, inspectors, test technicians, and peer design, manufacturing, or test engineers to work complex issues to closure.
- Lean, SPC, 6 Sigma experience preferred. Should be able to conduct root cause investigation using applicable quality tools.
- Confident with office applications and data analysis using excel, Minitab, or equivalent.
- Manage time effectively while dealing with a variety of issues in a dynamic environment.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $97008 - $164914

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
