Commercial Litigation Associate | 3–5 Years
Offit Kurman is
seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate with 3–5 years of experience to join
our growing litigation practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an
attorney looking to handle sophisticated matters while working alongside
experienced attorneys in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate
will have a strong commercial litigation background, with experience in one or
more of the following areas:
- Lender-side foreclosures
- Bankruptcy and creditors’
rights
- Loan workouts and
restructurings
- Real estate litigation
- General commercial and business
disputes
Candidates should have
experience handling substantive aspects of litigation, including legal research
and analysis, drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery, communicating
with clients and opposing counsel, and assisting with matters through resolution.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of commercial
litigation experience
- J.D. from an accredited law
school
- Active and in good standing
with at least one U.S. state bar
- Strong research, writing, and
analytical skills
- Ability to manage matters
independently while collaborating effectively with a team
- Excellent communication,
organizational, and client-service skills
- New York and/or New Jersey
admission and experience
