About this role
## Position Summary
Prioritize clinic activities and front desk operations in the group practice clinic. Monitor daily clinic operations, within guidelines, in accordance with NYU Dentistry standard operating procedures. Act as work leader to junior clerical support staff. Provide customer service support to dental clinic patients, from greeting and routing patients to maintaining data integrity in AxiUm and performing cashier duties. Ensure adherence to policies and procedures, making suggestions for enhancements and improvements.
Qualifications
Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Experience: 3+ years of office experience in a dental clinic or related healthcare facility.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Excellent customer service skills. Ability to prioritize own work and coordinate work of others in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with basic word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications. Moderate, accurate keyboarding.
## Additional Information
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is USD $40.215. This rate is based on bargaining unit contracts. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
