Warehouse Associate / Woodworker
Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm
Pay Rate: $17/hr
Location: East Bernard, TX
Experience: 6+ months
We are excited to share a new opportunity! We are looking for a Warehouse Associate / Woodworker to join our clients team in East Bernard. The ideal candidate has experience in a warehouse setting helping build custom crates to ensure safe shipping of outbound products. Candidates should be able to leverage problem solving and measurement skills to visualize a proper container and then have familiarity with power saws, nail guns, and other wood working tools to construct it.
Warehouse Associate / Woodworker Responsibilities:
Read shipping orders and identify how to best package products for safe shipping Craft custom shipping container using existing crates and wood materials Pack and pad products in custom crate mitigating risk of damage during shipping process Fulfill orders accurately and timely Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Warehouse Associate / Woodworker Requirements:
Measurement and math skills to determine shipping container dimensions General craftmanship skills working with wood and hand or power tools Prior experience in assembly and/or wood craftsmanship Independent judgement and problem solving skills Attention to detail Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred
