About this role
PRIMARY DUTY:
This position manages and plans programs and activities related to private development review. Coordinates with customers and other internal and external stakeholders as necessary. Regularly reports on overall program and individual project/case activities, accomplishments, and forecasts. This position may have assigned direct or indirect supervisory functions of assigned staff. ESSENTIAL DUTIES
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program
- Six years of progressively responsible experience in development review engineering, public works engineering, or other related field.
- Four years of experience reviewing construction plans, plats, site plans, and zoning
- Any combination of education, experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES REQUIRED:
- Registration as a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas or ability to obtain same within six months
- Valid Class "C" Texas Driver License with a good driving record
