Parts Counter Representative

Responsibilities
- Receive, process, and organize incoming parts orders
- Maintain accurate parts inventory and ensure proper inventory control
- Create and maintain bin locations for new inventory
- Notify customers and internal departments when parts arrive
- Identify and communicate shortages, damages, and order discrepancies
- Process, organize, and stock accessories
- Prepare parts for returns, shipping, and delivery
- Separate and organize orders for multiple dealership locations
- Deliver parts to a secondary dealership location as needed
- Perform light forklift operations and material handling
- Process warranty scrap and related documentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe parts department
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations
- Provide professional and responsive service to customers and dealership personnel
- Assist with additional parts department duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous automotive parts or dealership parts experience is required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts, inventory, and parts department operations
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Dependable, motivated, and willing to learn
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Strong work ethic and commitment to workplace safety
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move parts and other materials as required
