Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring a Spanish (ELE) Language Teacher to provide in-person lessons to our client in San Francisco .

- Location: Lessons are to be held at the student's workplace on Calle Domingueños in San Francisco, Heredia
- Preferred start date: Monday, September 28, 2026
Details
- Availability: Monday to Friday around 2 or 3pm
- Lesson Frequency: 4 or 5 times per week
- Lesson Duration: 60 minutes per session
- Current Spanish level: Unsure; the teacher needs to assess it
- Native language: English
- Student’s language needs and goals: Daily communication, building confidence to go day by day activities.
- Student's interests: Learning more about Costa Rica's culture.
Responsibilities
- Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
- Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
- Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
- Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner
Qualifications
- Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
- Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second language acquisition, or related field
- Minimum of two years of teaching experience
