Marketing/Communications Events Assistant

Campus Enterprises Mission: Campus Enterprises is NC State University’s division of retail and hospitality organizations — NC State Dining, NC State Stores, Lonnie Poole Golf Course, NC State Student Centers (Witherspoon and Talley), and the One Card Office. Each department is dedicated to providing service excellence, value, and enrichment of the student experience in support of academic success.

Job Summary: The primary purpose of this position will be to assist in all aspects of the Campus Enterprises (CE) Marketing Team.

Pay Range: Tier 1 @ $11/hour

Work Schedule: Flexible 15-20 hours per MONTH.

Location: Varies based on events

Federal Work-Study Eligible

Essential functions and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Provide support to CE Marketing Team during events and other marketing activities
- Provide support during event planning and preparation
- Prepare and assist with promotional tables and special giveaways on campus
- Other marketing/communications duties as assigned

Preferred Skills:

- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, peers, and customers
- Must possess a valid driver's license (background check required)
- Interest in events and promotions
- Experience with special events, social media, communications, or marketing (i.e., studying in these areas)
