The Opportunity

Customers usually only meet the technician on-site. What they don’t see is everything that happens behind the scenes—making sure the right parts, materials, and equipment are ready and in place before the job even starts.

As a Parts & Shop Coordinator at R.J. O’Neil, you’ll be an important part of keeping our service team moving. You’ll work alongside our Parts & Shop team handling receiving, inventory, job materials, logistics, and job tracking while making sure our technicians have what they need to get their jobs done.

No HVAC or plumbing experience is required—we’ll train the right person. We’re looking for someone dependable, organized, hands-on, and interested in learning the mechanical trades and growing with RJO.

The Package

Pay: $23.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week

This is an active, hands-on position that requires being on your feet throughout the day and the ability to safely lift and move 50+ pounds .

A Day in Your Life

Parts & Inventory

- Receive incoming parts and equipment and verify against packing slips

- Match parts and materials to the correct jobs and technicians

- Track partial shipments and back-ordered materials

- Maintain accurate and organized inventory

- Help identify and communicate missing materials before scheduled jobs

Shop Operations

- Organize and shelve parts so technicians can quickly find what they need

- Stage parts, equipment, and materials for upcoming jobs

- Help make sure technicians have what they need before leaving for the jobsite

- Keep the shop, warehouse, and parts areas clean, safe, and organized

- Assist with general shop tasks and maintenance

Technology & Equipment

- Update parts, materials, and job information in company software

- Learn how purchasing, inventory, scheduling, and service operations work together

- Complete forklift training and obtain required certification

- Safely operate a forklift and other equipment once properly trained

Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Get Out of It
