Job Summary
The AI Developer will be a hands-on contributor on our AI team, working alongside the AI Technical Leader to design, build, and scale AI solutions for the business. You will be in the code, building agents, RAG systems, and AI-powered applications that solve real business problems for our sales teams, service technicians, supply chain operations, and manufacturing sites. This is a builder and Ai products owner role. You will spend most of your time designing and developing Ai solutions, interacting with end-users, discussing requirements and translating the same into value-delivering Ai solutions. integrating with enterprise systems, and bringing AI solutions from prototype to production. You will work directly with our global AI team across multiple regions, contributing to a federation of AI engineers shipping AI enterprise grade products.
Responsibilities
- You will partner with Business, AI-COE and data teams on the discovery, design, and delivery of AI solutions tailored for your business unit or region. Your focus will be on hands-on engineering: building, integrating, and iterating.
- Specifically, you will develop AI agents and RAG systems on top of our enterprise data platforms (Snowflake, Google Cloud Platform, and any approved regional platforms required for your geography). You will write Python and SQL to build data pipelines, prompt engineering workflows, and integrations between AI applications and source systems such as Salesforce, SAP, and SharePoint. You will work with vector databases, LLMs (including Claude, Gemini, and any approved regional models required for your geography), and modern AI frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, MCP, and similar).
- You will participate in workshops with business stakeholders to understand their pain points, contribute to technical scoping, and translate requirements into working prototypes. You will then iterate those prototypes into production-grade solutions, working with our data engineering and AI Ops teams for deployment and monitoring.
- You will also help us navigate the technical landscape of your region or business unit, contributing to architecture decisions that account for local data residency, regulatory compliance, and approved vendor ecosystems where applicable.
Basic Qualifications
We are open to candidates at varying levels of experience, from early-career engineers who have demonstrated strong AI building skills to mid-level engineers with 4+ years of hands-on experience. The bar is on quality of work and learning velocity, not on years served. Beyond technical skills, we are looking for someone who is genuinely curious about how AI delivers business value.
- Hands-on LLM application experience: practical work with RAG architectures, prompt engineering, agentic workflows, and at least one production AI system you helped ship.
- Strong programming skills: Python is essential, along with SQL and experience working with structured and unstructured data at enterprise scale.
- Modern AI frameworks: familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, llama-index, or equivalents, plus working knowledge of vector databases and embedding models.
- Cloud platform experience: any major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP, or other enterprise-grade cloud providers approved for your region).
- Communication: professional fluency in English with our global team across time zones.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related technical field.
