Our Advisory Intern Program is designed to immerse you in the world of family office services through the lens of our Client Advisory team. To deepen your understanding of the full client experience, this internship includes exposure to several key departments , such as Investment Research, Client Operations, and Professional Services, each playing a vital role in how we serve our clients. These opportunities provide a deep understanding of Pathstone’s business and an opportunity to learn from leaders across departments.

What You’ll Do: This summer internship offers an opportunity to gain meaningful, hands-on exposure to wealth management and the Advisory function at Pathstone. Our Advisory teams are at the center of how we serve clients, bringing together the firm’s investment, planning, tax, family-office, and other capabilities to deliver thoughtful, integrated advice that helps our clients make informed decisions and pursue their goals.

You’ll be embedded within an Advisory team and contribute to projects and activities that support client service and advisor effectiveness. Along the way, you’ll gain a firsthand understanding of how a leading wealth management firm works collaboratively to serve complex clients, while developing your analytical, communication, and professional skills.

To broaden your understanding of the firm, you will participate in structured learning sessions with key departments across Pathstone, gaining insight into how these teams support and enhance the client experience. Throughout the program, you will collaborate on regional projects, build relationships with team members across the country, and develop a holistic view of how Pathstone is in service of our client’s preferred life .

What We Expect: You will be expected to participate in professional development sessions and contribute to meaningful projects. Assignments include, but are not limited to:

- Advisory team regional projects and deliverables

- Structured learning sessions

- Professional development, networking opportunities, and culture work

- Capstone presentation and Graduation Week activities

Who You Are:

- Current junior with a 2028 graduation date

- Curious and eager to learn, with an interest in understanding how your work contributes to broader client outcomes

- Resourceful and proactive in taking initiative to solve problems

- Adaptable communicator who listens well, seeks to understand, and collaborates effectively with others

- Relationship-oriented, building trust and positive connections with colleagues and teammates

- Passionate about helping others and delivering high-quality client experience

- Accountable and dependable, following through on commitments and producing high-quality work

- Interested in learning how to use and optimize AI to support day-to-day work and solve problems creatively

Timing and Program Details:

- The program begins mid-June

- 40-hour work week for 8 weeks, in office Monday - Friday

- Available in our Bellevue, WA, Boston, MA, Boulder, CO, Newtown Square, PA (Philly Metro), and San Francisco, CA offices

- Participation in Graduation Week, including in-person project presentations and networking opportunities, hosted in our Boulder, CO office

- Potential pathway to full-time employment on the Advisory team

- Paid internship, non-exempt (hourly) position, at $25/hour
