About you and this role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician in Landskrona, Sweden .

In this role, you will combine hands-on maintenance with troubleshooting, analysis, and continuous improvement while working with advanced process equipment in a dynamic industrial environment. Together with a team of dedicated and experienced colleagues, you will help ensure safe, reliable, and sustainable operations while contributing to the ongoing success of our production processes.

Responsibilities

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and production equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment as well as carry out service, rebuilds and improvements.
- Renovate gearboxes and other industrial equipment.
- Perform measurements and condition checks as well as document and analyze the results.
- Carry out alignment and balancing of machines.
- Check lifting devices and ensure that the equipment is used and operating safely.
- Identify and implement improvements that increase reliability and reduce downtime.
- Participate in development and improvement projects.
- Together with the team, be responsible for maintenance and development of the process equipment.
- Perform daily supervision of steam boilers, compressors and water treatment plant.

Qualifications

- Upper secondary education with a practical or technical focus, in industry, mechanics, electricity, construction or equivalent.

- Experience in mechanical maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting within manufacturing, process industries, or other technical environments, including hands-on work with production equipment, machinery, and larger industrial systems.

- Good knowledge of Swedish and English.

- Experience with SAP is an advantage.
