Job Overview

Reeder Distributors, Inc. is seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to support the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. This position plays an important role in keeping warehouse activities running efficiently by receiving, organizing, picking, and handling products, equipment, and materials needed to support our customers and operations.

The Warehouse Associate will assist with inventory-related activities as assigned, maintain proper product organization and labeling, and help ensure materials are stored and handled accurately. This role requires someone who is organized, safety-minded, comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and willing to assist wherever needed.

The ideal candidate is reliable, takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, and works well as part of a team.

Shift and Schedule

This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position with flexibility to work overtime.

Location

We are located in Spring, TX , where this position will work onsite daily position.

Key Responsibilities

- Pick, prepare, and stage orders.

- Receive incoming products and materials and verify quantities against applicable receiving documentation.

- Inspect, label, organize, and properly store incoming inventory.

- Accurately complete assigned inventory receipts, transfers, repacks, and other inventory transactions within the applicable system.

- Pull and stage equipment, parts, products, and other materials for customer orders, service work, installations, projects, and warehouse replenishment.

- Assist with transfers of inventory between warehouse locations, service vehicles, or other Company locations as directed.

- Assist with tracking incoming and outgoing products and materials as required.

- Maintain organized inventory locations to support accurate and efficient product retrieval.

- Maintain applicable warehouse logs and documentation.

- Maintain loading zones, aisles, storage areas, and workspaces in a clean, safe, and organized condition.

- Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment when properly trained and authorized.

- Follow all Company safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.

- Perform other warehouse, inventory, and operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

- Previous warehouse, inventory, shipping and receiving, or material-handling experience preferred.

- Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory management systems.

- Ability to accurately complete inventory transactions and documentation.

- Ability to read and understand packing slips, shipping documents, product labels, and other warehouse documentation.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.

- Dependable attendance and punctuality.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.

- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive material-handling activities.

- Ability to safely operate applicable warehouse equipment after completing required training.

- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Work Environment

This position primarily works in a warehouse environment and may involve exposure to varying temperatures, noise, moving vehicles and equipment, and products and materials associated with warehouse operations. Employees are required to follow all applicable safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
