This role is responsible for the administration, oversight, and optimization of lease-related activities across the LCBO retail store network. This role provides expert analysis, technical guidance, and strategic support to internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance with lease agreements and maximizing occupancy cost efficiencies. The position oversees rent administration, lease audits, and financial covenant compliance, while maintaining the integrity of real estate systems and supporting effective real estate portfolio management.

The ideal candidate will have a deep sound knowledge of IFRS 16 and its workings.
- Prepare Monthly rent administration, lease audits, and occupancy cost management to ensure compliance with lease terms and financial requirements.
- Analyze financial and real estate data, develop budgets and forecasts, and provide insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Maintain the integrity of real estate systems and reporting tools, ensuring accurate data and reliable portfolio information
- Build strong partnerships with internal teams, landlords, developers, and external stakeholders to advance real estate projects and initiatives.
- KPI reporting, variance analysis, and IFRS16 compliance.
- Investigate property tax assessments, appeals, and compliance activities.

About You
Education & Credentials
- Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS16, property tax methodology.
- You have strong judgment and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate complex issues and balance the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
- You are confident managing negotiations, resolving disputes, and identifying practical solutions that support business objectives.
- You bring strong analytical and financial skills, with the ability to assess risks, evaluate opportunities, and make data-driven recommendations.
- You are comfortable working with budgets, forecasts, and financial information to support strategic decision-making.
- You thrive in a collaborative environment, partnering with stakeholders across the business while knowing when to seek guidance and alignment on key decisions.
- You are proactive, resourceful, and continuously look for ways to improve processes and drive efficiencies.
