Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of part-time casual Bakery Clerk at our Food Store location in La Ronge, Saskatchewan .

Reporting to the Bakery Team Leader, responsibilities for the position include the following:
• Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members’ lives with a strong customer-focused approach.
• Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels.
• Prepare, package, and label bakery products to Lake Country Co-op standards while maintaining production records.
• Maintain and display all types of bakery products according to department standards.
• Monitor code dates to always ensure the freshest inventory is on the shelf; follow First in, first out (FIFO).
• Accept and prepare cake orders according to customer specifications.
• Ensure to keep a clean and well-maintained department.
• Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Who You Are:
You are looking for a career opportunity in Retail Store Operations and Customer Service and meet the following:
• Experience in a retail bakery setting is considered an asset.
• Honest, trustworthy, results-oriented, and proud of the work that you do.
• Strongly service-oriented, motivated, and capable of assisting customers in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
• Able to meet the physical requirements of the role, including lifting of 25-50lbs, standing, walking, and kneeling.
• Familiar with Food Safe procedures and practices.
• Flexible work schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
