What We’re Looking For :
The Senior Vice President, Sales and Meetings & Events, reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, is a transformational commercial leader responsible for shaping and executing an enterprise-wide revenue strategy across group, transient, meetings & events, and catering. This leader drives sustainable revenue growth, market share expansion, and customer loyalty by aligning sales execution with brand strength, guest experience, and operational excellence.
This role sets the tone for a high-performance, insight-driven sales organization, bringing together property, regional, and corporate teams into a unified commercial engine. The ideal candidate blends strategic vision with hands-on leadership, leveraging deep industry relationships, market intelligence, and data-driven decision-making to unlock total account value and long-term customer partnerships. Success in this role means elevating performance across every channel while reinforcing the distinctive Loews experience at every customer touchpoint.

What You’ll Do :
Revenue Performance
- Accountable for achieving total revenue targets across group, transient, meetings & events, and catering segments.
- Drive profitable sales growth, market share expansion, and customer mix optimization.
- Establish and deliver clear sales goals, quotas, and incentives aligned to company objectives.
Sales Leadership
- Lead Property, Regional, and National Sales teams across all segments.
- Design and implement an effective sales organization structure to maximize productivity and coverage.
- Establish consistent sales processes, performance standards, and accountability across all teams.
- Responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of training frameworks to ensure the success and growth of team talent.
Meetings, Events & Catering
- Lead Meetings & Events and Catering teams, with full accountability for revenue performance and execution.
- Drive integrated selling strategies that maximize total account value across rooms, events, and catering.
- Improve conversion, event profitability, and customer satisfaction across the event lifecycle.
- Strengthen group and event business through effective pipeline management and execution excellence.
Customer & Market Growth
- Leverage market analytics, customer insights, and performance trends to identify growth opportunities and optimize portfolio and asset performance.
- Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, industry partners, and high-value customers.
- Increase share of wallet from existing clients while accelerating new business development.
- Represent the company in key customer engagements and industry forums.
- Own and direct the Loews Customer Advisory Board(s) to ensure the integrity, relevance and long term success of Loews Sales organization.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Field Marketing, Brand, and Public Relations teams to align go-to-market efforts and support demand generation.
- Collaborate with Revenue Strategy, Distribution, and Customer Engagement teams to ensure alignment on pricing, channel strategy, and customer experience.
- Work in close partnership with the Commercial Operations team to optimize systems, reporting, processes, and sales enablement.
- Coordinate with property leadership and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of group, event, and catering business and delivery on customer commitments.
- Provide input and support to portfolio growth strategy, market expansion opportunities, and commercial readiness for new hotel openings and acquisitions.
Operations & Enablement
- Oversee decisions pertaining to sales systems, tools, and processes to drive efficiency and scalability.
- Ensure effective pipeline management, reporting, and forecasting discipline.
- Drive continuous improvement in sales processes, lead management, and account planning including the development of AI process flows and solutions.
Talent & Performance Management
- Build, lead, and retain high-performing teams across sales, meetings & events, and catering.
- Establish clear performance metrics, accountability frameworks, and development plans, including property wide and corporate sales incentive structures
- Foster a culture of execution, ownership, and results-driven performance.
Additional Responsibilities
- Work with administrative staff to accomplish departmental goals
- Maintain regular attendance in conformance with standards
- May be required to work varying schedules as needed to support business operations
- Attend/complete all required meetings and training
- Perform other duties as assigned
Your Qualifications Include :
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in hospitality or related commercial roles.
- Experience within a large, branded hospitality organization.
- Familiarity with sales and event systems, platforms and tools (e.g., Delphi).
- Participation in relevant industry organizations (e.g., MPI, AHLA, HSMAI).
- Must be willing and able to travel as need based on business demand.
