Job Description
Legum and Norman is hiring an experienced residential Maintenance Technician for is condominium community in Alexandria.
Daily tasks:
- Right hand person to Onsite manager.
- Subject Matter Expert in all things Maintenance.
- Bring ideas and solution to Onsite manager; establish routine, preventative, maintenance schedule.
- Walk and inspect property; fix and repair where needed.
- Review and prioritize maintenance requests.
- Perform general maintenance to include HVAC, drywall, paint plaster, patch, plumbing and electrical.
- Contact and coordinate with vendors and contractors onsite.
- Shared on-call, nights, weekends, holidays, and emergencies.
- Other duties as requested.
Hourly pay rate: $25-$30.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- 2+ years of residential maintenance experience from the association, apartment, vacation rental, or hotel industries.
- Excellent communication skills, follow-up, follow-through.
- Customer service driven.
- Proactive, takes ownership and initiative to maintain and repair property as needed.
- Punctual, on-time, reliable and dependable.
- Takes pride in their work
- Valid driver's licenses, clean driving record, and reliable transportation is required.
