What you will have an opportunity to do:
Essential Job Functions
The primary focus of a Pool Tech is to ensure the cleanliness, clarity and proper mechanical and chemical operations of all pool and spas with the Fantasy Pool Complex,
Lodge, South Tower, Yacht Harbor Village and the Conservatory.
1. Daily duties to include:
A. Chemical and temperature logs for all pools.
B. Vacuum pools and spas on a daily basis.
C. Clean diatomaceous earth (DE) filtration systems and cartridge filter systems.
D. Backwash filters.
E. Clean traps on all pool’s and spa’s.
F. Clean and survey tile and inner surfaces of pool and spas for any defects to report to engineering/maintenance department.
G. Report any noticed malfunctions for defects in pool and spa equipment to the
supervisor.
H. Observe and skim pools and spas as needed throughout your shift.
Education / Experience
1. Must be over the age 18.
2. Previous pool maintenance experience preferred but not required.
3. Previous maintenance experience preferred.
4. Must be able to read, write and converse in the English language.
5. Must be well organized, self-motivated and a dependable person.
6. Must be able to work flexible hours to include HOLIDAYS and weekends
7. Must be able to work independently.
8. Must be a team player, everything is your job!
9. CPO a plus
Physical Demands
- Must be able to bend, stretch, shove, pull, transcend steps and lift and carry 60 pounds.
- Must be able to work outdoors in Florida sub-tropical climate.

- Someone with a experience working in a Maintenance role at a hotel or resort
- Someone with knowledge of "household" repairs (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.)

- Someone with a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests
- Someone with excellent communication skills
- Someone who is available to work various shifts to include weekends and holidays
- Ability to walk, stand, reach, crouch, bend, push/pull throughout duration of shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
