# Air Liquide is hiring an Inside Sales Representative in Vanier
Job Description: The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is responsible for selling welding equipment, tools, and supplies to customers. He or she plays a key role in customer service by providing expert advice and collaborating with colleagues to meet customer needs. The ISR is also responsible for processing orders, managing inventory, preparing quotes, and staying informed about competitors’ activities. He or she actively contributes to the smooth operation of the store and to customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities:
I. Sales and Customer Service:
Greet and advise customers :
- Provide first-rate assistance to customers in selecting welding equipment, durable goods, power tools, safety supplies, and industrial gases.
- Provide excellent customer service in person, by phone, and by email.
- Meet customer needs by recommending appropriate products and services.
- Seek to expand the existing customer base with all product lines.
Order Management:
- Process and expedite customer orders in a timely manner.
- Enter sales data, quotes, and other relevant information into the inventory management system.
- Ensure that customer inquiries regarding billing issues, bottle balances, order status, and delivery times are handled correctly.
II. Inventory Management:
- Assist the manager in ordering the appropriate merchandise to ensure that inventory remains at an acceptable level.
- Restock merchandise on the sales floor.
- Maintain current prices on all displays and products in the store.

III. Business Development:
- Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations and proposals to potential customers.
- Identify, monitor, and document competitive market activities by gathering current market information regarding prices, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
IV. Compliance and Procedures:
- Comply with and ensure compliance with the code of conduct/manual, policies and procedures, and all applicable rules, regulations, and standards promulgated by federal, state, and other applicable agencies or regulatory bodies.

Are you a MATCH?
Required qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in the industry, customer service, or sales of welding or industrial products
- Knowledge of welding processes and products is a plus but not required.
- Good knowledge of computer systems and the Google Suite
- High school diploma
- Class 5 driver’s license, clean driving record
- Positive attitude and a focus on customer service
- Forklift experience would also be an asset.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
