What You'll Do

We're looking for an experienced staffing professional to join BCG as an AI Factory (AIF) Staffing Senior Specialist. In this role, you'll apply deep knowledge of talent profiles and business needs to recommend key recruiting and staffing decisions across multiple disciplines, collaborating with BCG's AI Factory team, Talent Management, CDAs, and the wider staffing team to assign talent to Applied AI build work and new practice-area business efforts. You'll provide strategic staffing recommendations grounded in talent skill sets, teaming insights, and commercial priorities, and maintain a clear view of how employees are deployed so you can proactively solve resourcing needs for forecasted projects.

Staffing & resourcing

- Optimize deployment of BCG resources across the AI Factory's resource pools (e.g., CT, AIF, BCG X, Platinion), balancing business needs with each person's Career Development objectives and long-term goals
- Orchestrate resourcing across regions and practice areas for the AI Factory, balancing speed, capability fit, cost, and sustainability
- Maintain an acute awareness of the business environment and project priorities; communicate project opportunities to individuals and engage senior stakeholders and team leadership on staffing decisions
- Identify talent pools and source high-quality active and passive candidates; build pipelines to fill current and future roles
- Support and coordinate internal initiatives and networks that strengthen the talent pipeline

Relationships & advisory

- Be the go-to person for BCG talent involved in AI Factory work: understand development needs and staffing preferences, and discuss upcoming project opportunities
- Advise on staffing choices that balance business needs with individual preferences wherever possible
- Communicate staffing decisions and the rationale behind them; apply and enforce staffing policies and expectations
- Own the staffing process end-to-end, collaborating with fellow staffers to reach the best overall solution
- Create visibility into current and planned resource allocation, applying a diversity, fairness, and equity lens across people with different backgrounds and experiences
- Maintain accurate tools, reporting, and trackers covering project assignments, training, and time off; contribute to ongoing improvement of staffing processes and systems

Cross-functional collaboration

- Partner with the wider staffing and HR team to keep staff data accurate e.g., project assignments, training, recruiting, and time off
- Provide input to BCG HR and relevant stakeholders on employee matters as needed
- Work with talent team and finance on reporting of assigned resources, including timesheet reviews, case extensions, and staying current on new business wins

What You'll Bring

- Typically 4–6 years of experience in professional or technology services, ideally in staffing, talent management, workforce planning, people, or recruiting functions
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred, or equivalent relevant work experience
- Strong understanding of BCG's staffing processes, people and CD model, and matrix ways of working (prior BCG experience strongly preferred)
- Experience coordinating staffing (ideally across regions and/or portfolios)
- Interest in AI, digital, and technology-enabled transformation topics
- Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; English fluency required
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills, along with proficiency using AI tools in day-to-day work

Who You'll Work With

You'll join the AI Factory People & Staffing team, collaborating closely with local BCG staffing, HR and Recruiting teams on talent and pipeline strategy. You'll build relationships across BCG's consulting and BST talent, Global staffers, the CDC, Finance, and the AI Factory leadership team.

This   role   supports Project Helix, a BCG- wide   initiative to   design and   scale   AI-native workflows and   offers   across   practice areas for   BCG’s   agentic   transformation .   T eams are   drawn   from   across   BCG's   business   units   to   work   on   each   practice   area's   top   priorities   with   the goal of   reducing   time-to-output   from   weeks   for a case   team   to   hours   with   agentic   tools . As part of   this   team ,   you'll   help   ensure   the right people are   staffed   to Project Helix   work   as   it   scales .
