At Empowerment Quality Care Services (EQCS) , we believe progress happens through encouragement, practical skills, and consistent support. We are seeking an enthusiastic, dependable Psychosocial Rehabilitation Specialist to help adults with mental health needs develop the skills and confidence to lead more independent, fulfilling lives.

This is an active, people-centered role—not a sit-behind-a-desk position. You will facilitate engaging activities, support members as they practice everyday skills, and drive members to and from services , helping them stay connected to their recovery goals.

What You’ll Do

- Make life skills come alive. Lead engaging groups and hands-on activities focused on communication, healthy relationships, personal care, budgeting, problem-solving, coping skills, and everyday routines.

- Build confidence and connection. Help members practice positive social interactions, advocate for themselves, and participate more comfortably in their communities.

- Provide safe, dependable transportation. Drive members to and from scheduled services and approved community activities. Follow assigned transportation schedules, agency safety procedures, and member pickup and drop-off protocols.

- Support individual recovery goals. Provide person-centered encouragement, recognize progress, and collaborate with the PSR team to address barriers to participation and independence.

- Keep documentation accurate and timely. Complete service notes, attendance records, and transportation logs while maintaining confidentiality and promptly communicating concerns to your supervisor.

Transportation is a regular, required part of this position—not an occasional assignment. Dependability and safe driving are essential.

- Driving readiness. You have a valid driver’s license, an acceptable driving record, and the ability to meet agency driver approval and applicable insurance requirements.

Relevant education, training, or experience in  behavioral health, human services, social work, psychology, direct support, or psychosocial rehabilitation is preferred. Experience with group facilitation, recovery-oriented services, or passenger transportation is a plus. Candidates must meet the education, experience, screening, and training requirements applicable to their assigned role.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform physical activities, drive, stand and walk. Conditions of Employment

- Satisfactory Background Investigation

- Valid Driver’s License and proof of personal vehicle insurance coverage

- Must be available to work 4 Saturday per month on a rotating schedule

- Mindset: Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training

- Ability to successfully complete service-specific training courses
