CDL Driver Coordinator II

The CDL Driver Coordinator II ensures the day-to-day operations within the test drive facility run smoothly. This position works with Roush drivers as well as contractor providers to adjust daily staffing needs and schedules. The CDL Driver Driver Coordinator II ensures that vehicles are scheduled and sent out for tests in a timely fashion. This position is located in Fountain, Colorado. Wage range for this position is $22-$26 per hour.

Responsibilities:

- Vehicle and driver scheduling for fleet tests, including changes to shift status, down vehicles and absent drivers
- Point of contact for driver questions and issues regarding test vehicles and routes
- Coordinate drive team’s timing and daily tasks
- Daily data entry of driver/vehicle statistics
- Compile reports related to driver performance
- Training new drivers on processes, duties and responsibilities
- Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance

Minimum Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
- Minimum of 1 year of formal or informal leadership experience
- Working knowledge of DOT standards / compliance
- Proficient with Microsoft office suite with a focus on Excel
- Ability to learn proprietary/customer specific software including data entry skills
- Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills with an extreme attention to detail
- Must have the ability to multi-task and re-prioritize daily in a fast-paced work environment
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision and exercise sound judgement in a variety of situations
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime, nights and weekends

Preferred Requirements :

- 2+ years of work experience at Roush in a similar role
- Strong working knowledge and experience with DOT standards and compliance in a vehicle testing environment
