Job Description:
Under the Direction of the Chief Financial Officer, directs and supervises professional and support staff to include oversight of assigned divisions/departments, prioritizing work, ensuring proper training, conducting personnel evaluations, hiring/terminating recommendations, and managing the work performance of employees. Represents the Department at public meetings, conferences, in court, or other various committees. Prepares and/or directs the preparation of standard and special reports for assigned areas of work and/or projects. Under the direction of the CFO, effectively manage the division operations, budgets, and personnel providing leadership for the department. Evaluate programs/services for best practices and make recommendations for continual quality improvement. Research, review, and analyze information for data informed decisions. Prepares, administers, and monitors division budget, including approving expenditures; develops and interprets policies, procedures, and standards while ensuring compliance with all laws, rules and regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business or finance, or a related field; a minimum of six years of progressively responsible administrative experience, strongly preferred in the public sector; or an equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the duties of the position.
Salary Range:
$38.50-59.88/hr.
