Were looking for an experienced, confident care professional who can step into new client situations, observe what is really happening, support and coach Care Professionals, identify problems early, and help turn a new Start of Care into Stable Care .

This is a field-first role for someone who doesnt just notice problems — they help solve them.

What Youll Do

As a Start of Care Specialist, youll work primarily in client homes during the critical period when new care is being established.

You will:

- Participate in new Starts of Care based on client needs and stabilization priorities.

- Work alongside Care Professionals when hands-on training and support will help them succeed.

- Help Care Professionals understand each clients routines, preferences, care needs, home environment, and Plan of Care.

- Observe care in real life and identify when written instructions dont match what is actually happening.

- Coach Care Professionals with respectful, direct, in-the-moment feedback.

- Identify safety concerns, care gaps, caregiver-fit concerns, and other issues before they become larger problems.

- Partner closely with Client Care, Scheduling, Care Pro Success, and Operations to solve barriers to stable care.

- Document what you observe, what was done, what needs to happen next, and who owns the next step.

- Maintain an active group of new clients working toward stability and help move each one forward.

The Care Pro understands the client, knows what good care looks like in that home, and feels prepared to return.

A consistent schedule.
The right Care Professionals are successfully covering the clients needed hours without ongoing scrambling or re-matching.

- Have strong hands-on client-care experience and feel confident working in private homes.

- Can quickly build trust with clients, families, and Care Professionals.

- Are comfortable demonstrating care, observing others, and providing respectful coaching.

- Can give direct feedback without making someone feel defeated.

- Stay calm when a situation doesnt go according to plan.

- Ask good questions instead of guessing.

- Know when something can be coached and when it needs to be escalated.

- Communicate clearly with both field and office teams.

- Take ownership and follow issues through instead of simply passing them along.

- Can adapt to different personalities, homes, routines, and care situations.

- Believe documentation and communication are part of delivering excellent care.

This Role Is Different

This is not an office-only position, and it is not a traditional caregiving assignment.

Youll go where the care is happening .

Some days, that may mean working side-by-side with a Care Professional during a new Start of Care. Other days, you may return to a clients home to understand why something isnt working, coach a Care Pro through a difficult routine, identify a care-plan gap, or help the team determine what needs to change.

Youll need the judgment to know when to observe, when to coach, when to step in, and when to bring a concern back to the larger team.

The work requires flexibility, strong follow-through, and comfort operating in real-life situations where the answer isnt always obvious at first.

- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel throughout the service territory.

- Ability to use required systems for scheduling, communication, care planning, and documentation.

- Willingness to complete required company onboarding, orientation, training, and competency requirements.

Because this is a field-first position, the schedule may vary based on new Starts of Care and client stabilization needs.
