What Account Management contributes to Cardinal Health

Account Management is responsible for cultivating and maintaining on-going customer relationships with an assigned set of customers. Provides new and existing customers with the best possible service and recommendations in relation to billing inquiries, service requests, improvements to internal and external processes, and other areas of opportunity. Provides product service information to customers and identifies upselling opportunities to maintain and increase income streams from customer relationships.

Job Summar y

The Account Business Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day management, support, and growth of a designated key account. This individual will be physically present at the assigned account location each day, serving as the primary liaison between the account and internal teams. The role is focused on driving operational excellence, strengthening relationships, proactively resolving issues, and identifying opportunities to grow business within the account.

Responsibilities

- Maintain a daily onsite presence at the assigned account.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all account-related needs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians, office managers, clinicians, referral coordinators, and administrative staff.
- Conduct routine meetings with account stakeholders to review performance, opportunities, and concerns.
- Monitor referral activity, customer service metrics, and operational performance.
- Identify and resolve barriers impacting patient care, order processing, or customer satisfaction.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and concerns.
- Investigate and escalate issues as appropriate while ensuring timely resolution.
- Identify opportunities to increase referrals and expand utilization within the account.
- Maintain detailed records of account interactions and activities.
- Provide regular updates to leadership regarding account performance, risks, and opportunities.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
- 0-2 years of experience, preferred
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Anticipated hourly range:  $22.60 per hour - $29.25per hour
