Would You Be a Great Processing Technician?

As a Processing Technician, you will play an essential role in ensuring collected plasma products and samples are processed, handled, stored, and prepared for shipment safely and accurately. Reporting to the Center Manager, you will be responsible for the timely processing of collected plasma, maintaining proper storage conditions, and carefully packing and shipping products and samples in accordance with established protocols and safety standards. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and brings strong attention to detail, reliability, and integrity to their work. Responsibilities:

- Perform product processing procedures in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements.

- Ensure timely processing of collected plasma, managing one unit at a time during initial processing.

- Store product in the appropriate storage areas as indicated by SOPs.

- Perform product packing, maintaining strict adherence to time and temperature requirements.

- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols throughout the process.

What You'll Bring:

- Education : High school diploma or GED required.

- Experience : Previous plasma experience is a plus.

- Skills : Proficient in computer skills for data entry and electronic record management.

- Attributes : Strong attention to detail, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, adaptability, problem-solving abilities, composure under pressure, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

- Physical Capabilities : Comfortable working around whole blood, blood plasma, and bio-waste.
