As a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) , you will play a key role in supporting providers, coordinating patient care, and ensuring an exceptional patient experience in a fast-paced urgent care environment. What you can expect from this role:
Schedule: Variable schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week. Our clinic is open seven days a week from 8am-8pm, and shifts may include weekdays and weekends on a rotating basis.
Responsibilities:
- Room patients, obtain vital signs, collect health information, and prepare patients for evaluation and treatment.
- Support providers with patient care needs, including clinical procedures, treatments, medications, and diagnostic testing within scope of practice.
- Assist with drug screens and occupational health services
- Manage patient flow and support efficient clinic operations in a fast-paced urgent care setting.
- Provide excellent customer service while assisting with clinical documentation, follow-up tasks, and care coordination.
CMA Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Certifications
- Current BLS-CPR Certification from the American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Current recognized National Certification as a Medical Assistant from one of the following: NCCT, NAHP, AMT, AAMA, AMCA, or NHA
LPN Qualifications
Education
- Graduation from a Licensed Practical Nursing Program
Certifications
- Current BLS-CPR Certification from the American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Current Licensed Practical Nuse (LPN) licensure in the State of Practice
