Manager - Commercial Partnerships

Overview
The Commercial Partnerships team is looking for a Manager to support opportunities across businesses of all sizes. This role will help design and operate Mastercard’s Global Commercial Partnerships operating model, with a focus on analysis, process development, and operational effectiveness. The Manager will build and maintain the tools, frameworks, and insights needed to prioritize partnerships, improve onboarding, accelerate growth and strengthen governance. The role will help ensure that partnerships are scalable, data-driven, and consistently used across the business.

Role and Responsibilities:
• Partnership Demand & Pipeline Management – maintain and improve tools that track partnership opportunities and pipeline progress with a portfolio view. Create tools that standardize this process and allow for clear prioritization decisioning. Provide clear visibility into partnership priorities, demand trends, and opportunity status.
• Prioritization & Business Analysis – Support the development of insights that allow for improved and informed evaluation of partners and partnership constructs. Turn data and stakeholder input into actionable insights that support decision-making.
• Operating Model & Process Design – Help design, document, and maintain partnership lifecycle processes. Support governance structures and stage-gate frameworks. Ensure process documentation, templates, and tools remain current and are consistently used. Support the testing and refinement of frameworks and processes.
• Onboarding Process Improvement – Support the design and optimization of partner onboarding processes. Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Help define onboarding timelines, ownership models, tracking mechanisms, and success metrics.
• Performance Tracking & Continuous Improvement – Monitor key performance internal performance indicators such as onboarding timelines, pipeline conversion rates, and adoption metrics. Analyze performance data and provide recommendations to improve processes and outcomes.
• Go to market scalability improvements – support Partnership Go To Market team in building standard tools that accelerate sales and improve partnerships performance including clear goals to measure against such as business cases, and materials needed to boost growth
• Stakeholder Management & Communication – Partner with Partnerships team, and regional and global stakeholders from Commercial to gather requirements and feedback. Communicate updates, changes, and best practices related to the partnership operating model.

All About You:
• +10 years of experience in business strategy, consulting, or other roles focused on solving business problems and driving execution.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex issues, identify patterns, and make data-driven recommendations.
• Experience working across multiple teams, functions, and regions in a highly collaborative environment.
• Highly structured, organized and detail-oriented, with a focus on building scalable processes and ensuring consistent execution.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate across diverse groups and drive alignment.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more.
