About this role
The Administrative & Enrollment Manager manages enrollment, striving for optimal capacity and revenue potential, and makes daily schedule adjustments to ensure programs meet critical child-to-staff ratios. Position oversees administrative operations such as purchasing, billing, and records management and provides classroom support, as needed, to maintain safe staffing levels and continuity of care. Typical work schedule is Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with some flexibility to meet operational needs. Typical hiring range for this position is $50,000 to $60,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience and 1-3 years of relevant experience such as office administration, enrollment management, accounting, dynamic scheduling, childcare administration.
- Strong computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets/databases, and web-based applications. Ability to learn and adapt to new/changing technology.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and consistent attendance.
- Must earn Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification within 90 days of hire (training provided).
Preferred:
- Experience caring for children under 7 years old, in a group child care environment.
- Familiarity with DHHS Child Care Licensing Rules and NAEYC Accreditation standards.
- Familiarity with University of Maine procedures such as those for Purchasing and Payroll.
- Supervisory or leadership experience.
