About this role
Provide psychotherapeutic services including individual, family, and group treatment for children, adolescents and/or young adults.
- Conduct initial biopsychosocial assessments for pediatric aged patients seeking behavioral health services.
- Along with patient, and potential parent/guardian, develop treatment plans, including clear problem statement, treatment goal(s), with measurable, relevant objectives for a range of behavioral health concerns.
- Able to provide individual, group, and family therapy services.
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals to coordinate care.
- Complete and analyze evidenced based screening tools and assessments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation records.
- Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay current on best practices in the field of behavioral health.
- Advocate for patients and assist them in accessing community resources.
- Complete all mandatory AH trainings and competencies as assigned
- Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related field
- State licensure required (e.g., LCSW, LPC etc.) or license-eligible with active supervision.
- Prior experience with pediatric population (children, adolescents and/or young adults)
- Ability to work 2 evenings per week.
- Bilingual a plus

- Develops individualized treatment plans with measurable, patient centered goals, utilizes evidence based therapeutic approaches appropriate to the presenting problem(s).
- Can build rapport and trust quickly with a range of patients, uses active listening skills, reflective statements and nonjudgemental language, conveys understanding and acceptance without reinforcing maladaptive behaviors.
- Maintains clear, timely and accurate clinical notes that meet legal and departmental standards, manages caseload effectively.
- Upholds professional ethical standards, maintains appropriate boundaries and therapeutic relationships.
