We are looking for a Director of Operations to provide leadership and direction for our transportation operations. As a member of the senior leadership team, you will lead fixed-route and demand-response service; develop and support a strong operations leadership team; oversee staffing, scheduling, budget, performance, and resource decisions; and collaborate across the organization to strengthen service delivery. You will also serve as a trusted operational partner to the CEO and Board, bringing insight, recommendations, and practical solutions that advance CityBus’s mission.

Qualifications

Education, Licensing, and Certification Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Logistics, Business Administration, Public Administration, Transportation, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible experience may be considered.

- At least seven years of progressively responsible experience in transit or transportation operations, including significant leadership and supervisory responsibility. Public transit experience is strongly preferred.

- Must meet agency standards for motor vehicle licensing, drug screening, criminal background clearance, and ongoing random drug and alcohol testing as a safety-sensitive employee.
