The Mission Driver Enablement Center (MDEC) in Leidos is seeking an experienced Digital Employee Experience (DEX) Engineer. This is a fully remote position open to candidates located anywhere in the United States.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
Must have an active Public Trust with ability to obtain Secret or higher, as needed, US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The ideal candidate brings deep Nexthink expertise, having progressed beyond platform administration into engineering, automation, and enterprise integrations. They combine DEX knowledge with endpoint engineering, observability, and analytics to turn telemetry and user experience data into scalable solutions that drive measurable improvements in digital employee experience at enterprise scale.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILTIES:
Nexthink Platform Engineering & Administration
- Engineer, administer, and optimize the Nexthink Infinity platform, including Collectors, Investigations, Dashboards, Campaigns, Alerts, Remote Actions, and role-based access controls to support enterprise Digital Employee Experience capabilities.
- Ensure the stability, scalability, performance, security, and integrity of the Nexthink environment by applying platform governance, access controls, compliance requirements, and operational standards.
- Support the ongoing evolution and adoption of Nexthink capabilities through platform upgrades, feature adoption, continuous improvement, technical documentation, training materials, operational playbooks, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Automation & Self-Healing Engineering
- Develop, test, and maintain Nexthink Remote Actions and automated remediation workflows, including proactive, reactive, and self-healing solutions that address endpoint health, application performance, configuration, compliance, connectivity, and Microsoft 365 experience issues.
- Identify and implement opportunities to reduce manual support effort and improve operational efficiency by developing reusable automation frameworks, engineering standards, and scalable remediation capabilities.
Integrations & Platform Engineering
- Support the design and implementation of integrations between Nexthink and enterprise platforms, leveraging APIs, web services, and automation platforms to orchestrate workflows and automate data exchange.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to operationalize DEX insights and remediation workflows, ensuring integrations align with enterprise architecture, security standards, and governance requirements.
Analytics, Reporting & Adoption
- Develop Nexthink dashboards, investigations, and reporting solutions using NQL and platform analytics to monitor digital experience, identify trends and root causes, uncover automation opportunities, and translate telemetry and employee experience data into actionable insights for operational and executive stakeholders.
- Design and manage Nexthink Campaigns and employee engagement initiatives to gather feedback, measure sentiment, support organizational change and digital adoption, and partner with support and engineering teams to continuously improve employee technology experiences.
- Stay current on Nexthink capabilities, automation technologies, and industry best practices.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, coupled with 4-8 years of relevant experience; equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- 3+ years of hands-on experience administering, engineering, and supporting the Nexthink Infinity platform
- 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure, End User Computing (EUC), workplace technology, and/or endpoint engineering environments
- Proven analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills
- Experience analyzing large datasets and converting insights into actionable improvements
- Experience working in complex enterprise environments with cross-functional engineering and operations teams
Hands-on expertise with:
- Nexthink Remote Actions, Investigations and Dashboards, Campaigns and Alerts
- Application Experience and Software Metering
- Nexthink Query Language (NQL)
Experience and Understanding with the following:
- PowerShell (required)
- Bash/Shell scripting (preferred)
- Designing and developing automated remediation and self-healing solutions
- Building integrations using APIs, web services, and automation platforms
- Integrating Nexthink with ServiceNow, Moveworks or other similar products
- Endpoint management, security, and compliance (Intune, SCCM, Jamf, etc.)
- Microsoft 365
- Active Directory / Entra ID
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Nexthink certification(s)
- Experience with Nexthink AI Drive and Adopt
- Experience with ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, and asset management
- Familiarity with Splunk or other observability platforms
- Knowledge of DEX frameworks, employee sentiment measurement, and Experience Level Objectives (XLOs)
- Proven experience implementing and scaling Nexthink in large enterprise environments supporting 10,000+ endpoints

## Pay Range:
Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
