- Yard Laborer / Recycling Operations
- This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to get into the recycling industry, learn the business from the ground up, and grow into equipment and operations roles over time.
Perform general yard labor including sorting, cleanup, and material handling
- Assist with moving, staging, and organizing recyclable materials
- Support material flow throughout the yard and processing areas
- Help stack and stage finished materials for shipment
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Work alongside team members to support daily production needs
- Follow all safety procedures related to yard operations and equipment
- Assist operators and learn various aspects of recycling and processing over time
Required Qualifications
- Willingness to perform physical, hands-on work outdoors
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to follow instructions, safety rules, and procedures
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, industrial environment
- Good awareness and attention to surroundings
Preferred (Not Required)
- Prior labor, construction, warehouse, or yard experience
- Forklift experience or willingness to learn
- Interest in learning recycling operations and equipment
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Industrial recycling yard environment
- Exposure to outdoor weather, noise, dust, and moving equipment
- Standing, walking, climbing, and working on uneven surfaces
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
