JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Schedule: Shifts are 10:30am-7pm, 40 hours/week. Includes a mandatory every other weekend and every other holiday rotation

- Prepare and cook handcrafted pizzas according to recipes and quality standards
- Safely operate a hearth-style pizza oven, including loading, rotating, monitoring, and removing pizzas during the cooking process
- Monitor oven temperatures and follow established safety procedures when handling hot equipment and food products
- Prepare ingredients and replenish food and supply stations throughout the shift
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Operate the POS system and process transactions as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food preparation areas, equipment, and dining spaces
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
- Support team operations and assist with other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift, carry, stock, push, and pull food products and supplies
- Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to safely work around hot ovens, cooking equipment, and food preparation tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced food service environment

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year experience in a brick oven pizzeria or equivalent
