About this role
Performs diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment in various modes and techniques, to locate, evaluate, and record pertinent anatomical, pathological, and functional data. The Ultrasonographer maintains and calibrates equipment, records tests results, and updates patient records for referring physicians.
Education: Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training, and Completion of an Ultrasound program. Licensure: Requires licensure as a Sonographer. Must have ARDMS or CCI certification in 2 specialties.
