Monitors the fiscal activities of Ryan White and HOPWA sub-recipients/service providers and ensures contractual compliance with the grantor’s funding regulations. Maintains effective communication with staff, managers/supervisors and other relevant stakeholders.
Education, Experience, and Training:
Education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a job-related field of study. Three (3) years of work-related experience conducting fiscal compliance site visits, preferably Ryan White sub-recipient monitoring.
Special Requirements/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Requires thorough knowledge of the Single Audit Act and OMB circulars. Must possess knowledge of federal, state, and local HIV/AIDS health and social service agencies and grants related to the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program. Knowledge of HUD, DSHS, and HRSA legislative and fiscal requirements preferable. Ability to get along with diverse populations and establish cooperative relationships with others. Ability to communicate concisely and display proficient writing skills. Ability to resolve problems that require the exercising of sound judgment. Ability to be detail-oriented and the ability to produce accurate work products in a timely manner. Ability to maintain effective communication with the manager.
Physical/Environmental Requirements:
Standard office environment. Conducts routine off-site monitoring visits. This position requires the use of a reliable personal vehicle. Must possess a valid Texas Drivers License and good driving record. Must maintain a good driving record and remain in compliance with Article II, Subdivision II of Chapter 90 of the Dallas County Code.
