ROLE SUMMARY:
The Wingate School (TWS) is an Inspired Education Group school located in Mexico City and an accredited Cambridge International School and IB World School that offers an educational programme focused on academic excellence, creativity, and human formation.
TWS teaches the International Early Years Curriculum in Kinder, the International Primary Curriculum, and the Cambridge Lower Secondary Curriculum. The school is a member of the Latin American Heads Conference, was awarded the Foundation Level of the British Council’s International School Award, and was recently named “One of the 10 best international schools in Latin America” by The Knowledge Review .
The Admissions Coordinator is a commercially driven role responsible for supporting student enrolment growth through lead conversion, proactive business development and excellent admissions systems management. The role requires a highly proactive, results-oriented individual with a strong sense of urgency and a sales mindset. The successful candidate will actively follow every prospective family from initial enquiry through enrolment, while also developing new sources of prospective students through relationships with embassies, multinational companies, relocation agencies, international organisations, schools and other relevant partners.
In addition, the role will act as the school's champion for admissions and student information systems, particularly OpenApply and iSAMS, ensuring accurate data, effective processes and seamless information flow throughout the admissions journey and into the school's internal systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the full admissions journey for prospective families, from initial enquiry through enrolment, ensuring timely, personalized and consistent follow-up.
- Act as a key point of contact for prospective families, providing an exceptional admissions experience and effectively communicating The Wingate School’s value proposition and differentiators.
- Conduct school tours and admissions meetings in both English and Spanish for local and international families.
- Maintain and actively manage the admissions pipeline, monitoring leads, conversion rates and progress at every stage.
- Proactively identify and develop new sources of prospective families through outreach, networking, partnerships and referral opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with embassies, multinational companies, international organisations, relocation agencies, expat networks, feeder schools and other strategic partners.
- Act as the school’s OpenApply and iSAMS champion, ensuring accurate and up-to-date admissions and student information and supporting effective system workflows.
- Produce and monitor admissions dashboards and KPIs, including enquiries, applications, conversion rates, pipeline status, lead sources and enrolments.
- Coordinate interviews, assessments and appointments with academic, psychology and admissions teams, ensuring applicants move efficiently through the admissions process.
- Support Open Days, admissions events and recruitment activities, working closely with the wider school team to ensure a seamless transition from prospective to enrolled family.

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly build trust with families from different cultures and backgrounds.
- Strong technology skills and the ability to quickly learn and become a proficient user of systems such as OpenApply and iSAMS.
- Strong data discipline, attention to detail and confidence working with CRM-style pipelines, databases, reports and Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple leads and priorities simultaneously. Experience in sales, business development, admissions, hospitality, relocation, premium services or another customer-facing commercial environment is highly desirable; previous education experience is desirable but not essential.
